This luxury gite is approximately 2kms from the market town of Duras famous for its Chateau, wines and beautiful rolling countryside. In summer the fields are covered in sunflowers and the vines are plump with ripening grapes ready for the vendage in Autumn.
This holiday home, which sleeps 6, has been lovingly restored from an old barn by its owners, into a three bedroom, three bathroom (2 ensuite)gite with large open plan living room and kitchen. It also has its own terrace which overlooks the pool and lavender garden, plus new for 2006, a childrens play area with swings, badminton court and football net.
There are many more beautiful villages and towns in this region of France (Bergerac, St. Foy, Monsegur, Eymet to mention a few) in the surrounding area offering canoeing, cookery courses, cycling, golf, horseriding, hot air balloon rides, and of course degustations (free wine tastings)at the many vineyards, giving you lots to do during your stay at Taminage . Alternatively relax around the swimming pool with a good book, or feel free to wander round the gardens.
